GiftBerry.org Unveils Rescue Plan for Charities.

With recent cyber chatter concerning the impact of Web 2.0 and Cloud Applications for the Internet, a small Los Angeles Non-Profit has rolled out a suite of software that has the potential to save each charity up to $100,000.00 per year.

"GiftBerry provides its software to Charities for free," says Barb Castleman, who co-founded the http://www.giftberry.org/ system, "and everyone wins."

"The first question people ask is 'How do you do it?'," laughs Castleman. "We explain that GiftBerry.org is supported solely through Corporate Grants and Business Donations, and the Charity Directors are just amazed and excited."

"The average individual donation cycle uses about 26 pieces of paper," reports Ms. Castleman, "but at GiftBerry, you can run all Charity functions online, with virtual records, IRS compliance, and utter security."

GiftBerry's software application, eGala, is a godsend for Charities that routinely spend $30-100,000 per year on event management, specialized custom software running pledge drives, contacting donors, and endless day to day transactions.

"GiftBerry has created a paperless format for all transactions, which will comply not only with 'Green' objectives of the Charity, but also fits in nicely with Corporate and Business donors who can now give cash, products, services online directly, in seconds." GiftBerry even allows special promotions and discounts to be offered to Charities and their patrons.

http://www.giftberry.org/ was featured at the recent CAPSO Convention in Long Beach, and will be presenting at the upcoming National Conference for Independent Schools in Denver, Colorado this January 15-17.
