General Motors will unveil a new global design look for its Chevrolet brand at the IAA in Frankfurt in September.
The fresh styling is part of the US automaker's plans to make Chevrolet its global mass-market brand.
Photos of the new look are not available. But some design cues were seen on the Chevrolet SS concept, a large, rear-drive V-8 performance car shown at the 2003 Detroit auto show.
David Lyon, who heads the design studio styling Chevrolet's new look, said the front-end styling cues have "a little bit of a truck influence."
