Qld: Man charged with murder in home invasion
A man has been charged with murdering a truck driver during a home invasion on theGold Coast last month.
Twenty-one-year-old LEE IRELAND was bashed to death at a home in suburban MontereyKeys on July the 25th.
He was watching television with friends when two men with baseball bats came in and attacked him.
Mr IRELAND was taken to hospital with head injuries and died four days later.
A police spokesman says a 37-year-old man has been charged with murder and conspiracyto commit murder and will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
