VIC: Man dies after being shot in head in Melbourne

MELBOURNE, Jan 10 AAP - A man shot dead in the driveway of his home in inner Melbourne was
found by his wife shortly after his execution-style killing last night.

The 48-year-old man, from Alister Street, North Fitzroy, was walking from his car after
returning from an evening in the city with friends, when a man fired a several shots into his
body and head.

Homicide Squad detectives said the man's wife found her husband's body near the front porch
when she went to investigate noises at about 11.45pm.
